Demian Maia Week
Demian Maia in this video takes the time to break down the triangle choke. I have found that the little adjustments made to the triangle choke has made the difference in me catching someone in the choke and not catching them. That is how jiu-jitsu goes though, the slightest movement can make or break you. Breaking the opponent down at the elbow in order to bring the arm across is important, how many time do we get stuck trying to get that arm across our body. Check out Saturday's post of Maia highlight reel at about 37 seconds he performs a nice triangle choke on his opponent. Maia takes on Dan Miller at UFC 109 this Saturday.
